The Holidays - 2023

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the cozy, magical vibes that the season gives off. Putting up decorations, watching Christmas movies by the fire with a glass of wine, hitting the Christmas tree lot, and taking in all of the lights. I'm not one to get excited about shopping for and exchanging gifts with other grown adults, but finding the perfect gift for a cute little kid is kind of amazing. We went to Ballantyne's Backyard for the Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular with Jared and Bubby this year, but before we went, we gave Bubby his present. It was a toy backpack blower that blows bubbles. He had been at our house a month before with Jared when he came over to help Ryan blow our leaves. He was obsessed with the blowers. He wanted to play with them and kept saying, "blower, blower!" It was the cutest thing. I wondered if they made a toy version for kids and was so excited when I found one! Bubby loved it and even though it made a sticky bubble mess all over Jared's kitchen floor, I think Jared thought it was a great gift too.
